I'm Vashti Keturah Smith, but you can call me VT. My sister and three brothers and I were born and raised in a suburb of Chicago.
I have always been driven by my creative desire to pursue the arts. In addition to film/digital photography & videography, I was always involved in acting, singing, and dancing. I’m even a published poet!
When I am not behind the camera, I enjoy traveling the world, being outdoors, and exploring all that this beautiful planet has to offer. On the flip side, I enjoy a good book, watching movies, and drawing or coloring.
I am always curious! When I'm not checking out the latest trends in photography & videography, I'm drawn to interior design and fashion.
Ray here. Being from Miami, the 305 runs in my blood. VT and I are both middle children, but I have more fun! Before I became serious about videography & photography, I played Division-II college basketball at Webber University. There, I earned a degree in Computer Science.
Video production has always been a passion of mine. While growing up, I would make funny family and travel videos. Don’t tell anyone, but I was low-key Vine famous! Lol
When the camera is not in my hands, I remain close to the game of basketball as a coach and private trainer. I stay active by working out, traveling, and of course, playing basketball. I love to hang with my family and friends, and I am always down to chill, listen to music, and just vibe.
Our story starts 4 years ago when a right swipe and a missed cruise ship resulted in a Photography/Cinematography business known as 3Live Productions.
Our 10 years of experience have fueled our passion for this line of business. We have been mentored by well-known photographers in Miami and New York. We are also former students of a well-known virtual Videography school.
What makes us unique? At our core, we are artists. We see things that most people don’t. We’re like modern-day Superheroes!
Through the lens of a camera lies a different world... a world where artistry flourishes and stories speak without words. This, my friend, is why we love what we do!
